Hi! My name is Rachel Kate Bigler and I’m a Colorado native. I’ve been attending Skyview since the first year it opened; I was in 3rd grade at the time. This year I am a sophomore. I love going to school and don’t have a class or a teacher that I don’t like so far this year. I tend to excel at writing and math, but have a newfound interest in history. Some of my other interests include being with my family, reading, playing volleyball, and hanging out with my friends. I’m a triplet; my siblings are Claire, who is also at Skyview, and John, who is at the STEM high school.
As I mentioned before, I am devoted to volleyball. This is my 4th year playing and I set for the SVA varsity team and the No Limits VBC club as well. My mom is my inspiration for the game; she fueled my love for it with her own. She played in high school and in college on a full ride to Cal Poly San Louis Obispo. My mom is my biggest fan and my favorite coach, as she’s not afraid to tell me how and on what I need to improve.
